江苏省水利勘测设计研究院有限公司(原江苏省水利勘测设计院)成立于1957年，持有水利行业工程设计、工程咨询、工程造价咨询、水文与水资源调查评价、水土保持方案编制、建设项目水资源论证、工程监理等7项国家甲级资质和水运行业工程设计、建筑行业工程设计、市政行业专业工程设计、建设项目环境影响评价、水土保持监测、工程勘察等5项国家乙级资质，以及电力行业专业工程设计国家丙级资质和工程招标代理机构资质，并于2000年通过ISO9001标准质量管理体系认证。

 公司主要承担江苏省内淮河、长江等流域和区域水利规划、工程设计、工程咨询；先后承担省内外众多大型泵站、水闸、水库、船闸、桥、涵，工业与民用建筑工程设计和工程建设监理以及十几个国外经援项目；先后主(参)编水闸、泵站、水工挡土墙等多个设计规范、规程和标准，在平原地区低水头闸站工程、软土地基处理和低扬程泵站设计等方面技术领先。近年来，公司承担的主要工程有南水北调东线江苏段工程、淮河入海水道、入江水道、分淮入沂、洪泽湖大堤加固、沂沭泗河洪水东调南下、通榆河北延、太湖水环境综合治理、重点区域治理等工程项目，以及泵站、船坞、码头等省内外涉水市场项目。

 公司历来重视科技进步、产品质量和人才培养。现有各类专业技术人员180多人，其中高级职称以上人员85名，研究员级高级工程师12名，拥有各类注册执业资格的技术人员160多人次。1982年以来，公司先后荣获国家、部、省级奖励100多项，其中获国家级优秀工程设计金质奖4项、铜质奖4项。近年来，公司承担设计的“淮河入海水道近期工程”获新中国成立60周年100项经典暨精品工程和中国土木工程詹天佑奖，其河道工程、滨海及海口枢纽工程获全国优秀水利工程设计金质奖；“江苏省常熟枢纽工程”、“泰州引江河高港枢纽工程”、“新沭河大浦抽水站工程”和“嶂山闸除险加固工程”获全国优秀水利工程设计铜质奖。

Introduction (JSWI)

Jiangsu Surveying and Design Institute of Water Resources Co., Ltd. (originally Jiangsu Surveying and Design Institute of Water Conservancy) was established in 1957, has 6 class A qualifications in water engineering design, engineering consultation, consultation of engineering cost, hydrology and water resources investigation assessment, soil and water conservation scheme preparation ,water resources appraisal in construction project. The corporation also has 4 class B qualifications in water transportation, architectural design, municipal engineering design, environmental assessment of construction project and class C qualification in electrical engineering design. It passed the assessment of conformity of standard quality system（ISO9001）in 2000.

Since founded in 1957, the corporation has undertaken plan, engineering design, consultation of Huai River basin, the Yangtze River basin and regional plan in Jiangsu province. It also undertook the design of many large pumping stations, sluices, reservoirs, locks, bridges, culverts, docks, industrial and civil building engineering, the engineering construction supervision and a dozen of projects to help developing foreign countries. It participated or took charge in compiling design specifications and regulations such as Design Specification for Sluice, Design Code for Pumping Station and Design Specification for Hydraulic Retaining Wall. It leads nationally in the construction of low head sluices in plain regions, the handling and design of the soft foundation and in the design of low head pumping stations. Recently the corporation is undertaking the following projects: the project of South-to North water diversion(east line), the project of discharging Huai River water to the Yellow Sea, the project of discharging Huai River water to the Yangtze River, the project of discharging Huai River water to the New Yi River, levee reinforcement of Hongze Lake, the project of discharge Yi-Shu-Si River water to the New Yi River and the New Shu River, extension north of Tongyu River, comprehensive regulation and water improvement in Tai Lake, regulation of important river basins, dock and wharf design etc in Jiangsu and other provinces.

The corporation has always attached great importance to technological advancement, improvement of design quality and cultivation of technical talents. It has more than 70 senior engineers of all 170 technical personnel; more than 160 have registered technical professional licenses of all kinds, more than 80 have various work qualifications. Since 1982 it has been awarded more than 100 national, ministerial or provincial awards, including 4 gold medals and 3 bronze medals of national excellent project design. The project of discharging Huai River water to the Yellow Sea was awarded as one of 100 classical projects of 60 anniversary of new China, design of river course and design of Binhai water conservancy key project and Haikou water conservancy key project were awarded national gold medals of excellent project design. Changsu water conservancy key project and Gaogang water conservancy key project were awarded bronze medals of excellent project design.

The corporation was awarded titles such as ‘Meritorious Unit of Developing North Jiangsu’, ‘Civilized Unit of Jiangsu Province’, ‘Honoring Contracts and Keeping Promise Enterprise’ by the government of Jiangsu province and State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the People's Republic of China, ‘Advanced Plan and Design Collective for the Project of South–to–North Water Diversion’ and ‘National Advanced Surveying and Design Collective of Water Conservancy’ by the Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China. It was also awarded the title of National Excellent Water Conservancy Enterprise by China Water Enterprises Confederation (CWEA).
